Privacy

Scrimp does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no network connection of any kind inside the app.

What you type

Your household size, budget, dietary preferences, pantry items and meal plans are stored only on your iPhone. When Apple Intelligence is available, Scrimp uses Apple's on-device language model to read your preferences and write short notes. That processing happens on the device; Scrimp has no server and sends nothing anywhere.

Purchases

Scrimp Unlimited is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment; Scrimp only learns whether the unlock is active on the device.

Data we hold

None. Everything is deleted when you delete the app.

Children

Scrimp is rated 4+ and collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
